Thai Massage is a unique form of therapy and dynamic bodywork that incorporates hata Yoga, reflexology, meridian work and acupressure. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga bodywork - also called Nuad Boran - and widely known as Traditional Thai Massage, (Nuad Phaen Boran ) - the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of passive Yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the ''Sen Lines'', the body's energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
The therapeutic basis of Thai Yoga Massage is rooted in the Indian healing tradition of Ayurveda; the word Ayurveda derives from two Sanskrit words: Ayur, meaning "life" and Veda , meaning "knowledge" thus, this science of living functions as a guide to the proper maintenance of life.

Tori Peel-Yates | Yoga Teacher
I completed the Thai Yoga Massage Diploma with Francesca in London and I can honestly say it was a life changing experience. Not only does Francesca have a profound knowledge and understanding of the ancient art of Thai massage, but she combines this with her "Western" anatomical expertise as well as her studies of Chinese medicine to deliver a well-rounded and complete course that provides students with the skills, tools, and knowledge they need to start out along the path as Thai Yoga Massage practitioners. Not only that, but she pays individual attention to each and every student, picking out their strengths and encouraging them to develop their own unique styles. Francesca has great passion both for Thai Yoga massage and for teaching, and it shows. She creates a friendly learning atmosphere in which everyone is made to feel welcomed and loved. THANK YOU Francesca for introducing me to this beautiful art and continuing to support me on my journey. Namaste

I completed my Thai Yoga massage course with Francesca in London earlier this year. It was a life changing experience. Francesca's expertise together with her warm and engaging demeanor made the experience so very worth while. Her genuine respect and adoration for this wonderful art was very clear every step of the way. If anyone is looking to train in Thai Massage, I urge you to get in touch with Shen Mantra. I have booked previously taken Deep Tissue Training with Francesca and will be taking the Table Thai course in a few weeks time! I am sure I will be booking more! Very grateful to have trained with such a brilliant school!
Ali Ayoub | Massage Therapist | Wellness Practitioner
Excellent!! This is the second time I complete a Massage training course with Shen Mantra. I have done a few courses throughout the years in various schools, and not all of them have met my expectations.
I can confidently say the course in Thai Yoga Massage and Deep Tissue Fusion were great. I found the main teacher and director Francesca very professional, thorough and focused, giving equal attention to every student. I found her very positive and encouraging, she has a genuine desire to teach and inspire new and established practitioners, and, can work with the potential of all students and therapists whilst giving honest and constructive feedback. This, combined with her passionate teaching style, her sense of humor, and breadth of knowledge of different massage modalities makes her an exceptional trainer.
I loved the wealth of knowledge and learning that the team shared freely in class discussions. I also appreciate the ongoing support and appropriate refreshers that get sent to students after each course. I found them very thoughtful and considerate.
Overall, I feel they provided for me a comfortable, safe and supportive teaching environment, and their communication on all aspects has always been consistent, clear and warm. I feel like I learned a new set of skills and techniques to add in my ‘toolbox’, and also feel safer and securer in my posture.
Highly recommended for all of those interested in embarking in Eastern-Style massage or for those who want to enhance their general massage skills. I feel like a new therapist with a new set of skills, so thank you Francesca and the team.
