Ancient Thai Massage is a unique form of Body Therapy that incorporates Hata Yoga, Reflexology, meridian work and Acupressure.

You will learn the complete Traditional set of Thai Massage in Front, Side, Back and Sitting positions.

Every class starts with a Yoga session and Meditation, followed by the Tutor practical demonstration and all day practice.

All techniques on a futon with light-weight clothing required to allow for flexible movement.

Course materials include a detailed folder containing a step-by-step guide to all practical techniques and notes for all theory lectures. A bibliography for other recommended reading is discussed in the first class.

Length of Course:


60 hours training spread over 8/10 days, which are broken into an ideal initial 5 consecutive days, followed by 2 days, usually a month after the first session in order to give students enough practice time, and a final practical assessment day.

A more flexible timetable is also offered on request.

Once qualified, Students will also benefit from ongoing training days where at no extra cost they will be assisting the Tutor with new classes with the role of Student/Assistant.

Course Dates & Fees:


We emphasize small class sizes to insure that each student receives the maximum personal attention possible.

Courses are usually held at Body Basics College, Stratford, East London, or in North London, Muswell Hill. Other locations will be specified.

At Shen Mantra we believe in flexibility and offer on going training for a minimum of 2 students. Location not suitable either? Once more, flexibility is the key. We are willing to travel, depending on location.

Prices may therefore increase depending on location and number of students.
